On February, 14th and 15th, the 4th Congress of Energy of Catalonia took place in Barcelona. In this Congress, forest economist of the CTFC Adriano Raddi, presented the biomass strategy, which is the policy instrument addressed by Catalonia in the BIO4ECO Project.
The 4th Congress of Energy of Catalonia aimed to facilitate mutual understanding among areas like energy, environment, quality of life and local economy. The fragmentation of these disciplines between administrations and academia carries visions, inefficiencies and unnecessary confrontations not only useless but also too costly for the whole country and its citizens. Energy is not the gas, electricity and fuel: it is something for everyone.
Just considering energy as an integral factor of teh daily life, as are the economy and food among others, can achieve energy for everyone permanently.
