The event held on 26 September 2019 in Bucharest, INCDCP-ICECHIM, 202 Splaiul Independentei, and has united representatives of authorities (the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration, the Agency for Rural Investments, South Muntenia Regional Development Agency, Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency, Ministry of Energy, Ilfov County Council, NGOs, SMEs and researchers - 20 participants.

It was an opportunity to present BIOREGIO project implementation progress and the results obtained in semester 5, especially the Good Practices presented by Slovak partners in the 5th interregional event in Nitra, Slovakia, 14-15 May 2019. Participants have been informed about the 6th interregional event in France, too.

An important part of the meeting was the debate: How could the development of circular bioeconomy in Romania be supported?, opportunity to discuss and develop the Romanian Action Plan to improve the policy instrument in the field of circular bioeconomy.
Agenda also included presentations of good practices:
- the Interreg Europe project SinCE-AFC (South Muntenia Regional Development Agency partner, ongoing project): Enhancing the Entrepreneurship of SMEs in Circular Economy of the Agri-Food Chain
- the project: Developing the administrative capacity of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forest to implement the policy in the field of waste management and contaminated sites - project co-financed from the European Social Fund (ESF) through the Operational Program Capacity Administrative 2014-2020
- Use of bio-waste as feeding substrate for insect-production (insect farming to produce protein for use as livestock, poultry, and aquaculture feed) - Danish Technological Institute - Skype presentation
