On 03 December 2019, the BIOREGIO project was present at the 6th ClusterFY Stakeholder Group Meeting organized by South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud Muntenia ClusterFY Conference and workshop) - the meeting was held at the University “POLITEHNICA” of Bucharest – Central Library, 313 Splaiul Independentei, Sector 6.

ClusterFY project “Fostering Clusters’ Interregional Collaboration and Integration into International Value Chains” is an interregional cooperation initiative under the Interreg Europe programme. The objective of the ClusterFY project is to improve regional or national policy instruments seeking to intensify clusterization processes (especially KETs related), fostering clusters’ and business networks interregional cooperation, integration into innovative value chains and better employment for the implementation of Smart specialization strategy (S3).

It was a dissemination event about the project results (new brochure launched: “Clusters and Kets in a Changing Landscape”) who hosted a thematic workshop The regional, national and European context for 2021-2027 period, an opportunity to distribute BIOREGIO brochures, which initiated discussions about bio-circular economy.

Participants (local and governmental authorities representatives, SMEs, industry as well as academics representatives - about 25 participants) were interested in the BIOREGIO project and initiated a very interesting and useful discussion about policy instruments to support the bio-based circular economy, BIOREGIO Action Plan for Romania.
