Between 2nd and 3rd of November 2020, the Blue Green City partners attended a virtual workshop organized by the Italian partner – Regione Piemonte, starting from the thematic topics identified during the online partnership meeting that took place between 5th and 7th of October, as follows: GBI multifunctionality and its application, ecosystem services (analysis and management), improving the consciousness of the GBI values through education and trainings, facilitating a new type of governance in this domain.
The event represented the beginning of the inter-regional joint learning process in terms of sharing best practices and experiences, which is the basis for the development of the actions to be included in the Regional Action Plans.
Through the presentations and discussions held during the thematic sessions, the partners tried to illustrate the elements of transferability and inspiration that can be applied in other regions, as well as the aspects they wanted to deepen through the examples and solutions offered by other partners in the context of improving the mutual learning process and facilitating the exchange of knowledge within the project.
