The first stakeholders meeting in Portugal was held on 14.11.2018 in Messejana, Alentejo and was inserted in the Alentejo´s Circular Economy Forum plenary session programme. The main purpose of this first meeting was to present the CircPro project and to define further cooperation models.
The participation was open for all the forum members and for representatives of the region governments, public and private companies, and other stakeholders working in Circular Economy and interested in implementing principles of circular procurement.
The project was presented by Mr. Jorge Pulido Valente from CCDR Alentejo who is also member of CircPro steering group. The project key aspects and objectives was presented and the stakeholders role was defined.
The feedback from all the present stakeholders was very positive.
CircPro project is funded from the Interreg Europe Programme and aims to promote its partner regions’ transition towards circular economy (CE) related national and regional decision-making by increasing the implementation of circular procurement (CP).
