Intesa Sanpaolo Group, as member of the Circular Economy Finance Expert Group promoted by the European Commission, contributed to the recent publication of the report Categorisation system for the Circular Economy.
The aim of this work is to overcome the current lack of a shared and inclusive methodology to measure circularity, thus enabling the scale up of Circular Economy financing. The document contains a sector-agnostic categorisation system, including criteria and assessing guidelines, and is intended to contribute to the EU Platform for Sustainable Finance.
