We are happy to announce that our 3rd Action Camp will be held onsite at the premises of the Regional Park in Frankfurt on 17-19 May 2022, task leader: UVa, hosts: IfLS, Regional Park.
The event will help us interact and exchange on our finalised Action Plans and their implementation steps as well as to discuss further issues such:
- Urban Farming (UF) contribution to resilience of citizens/cities.
- UF and education .
- Future UF trends.
- Implementation of UF policies (incl. impact monitoring)
- Scaling up UF initiatives.
The event will also present the consolidated results by the partner regions in response to the online Survey on how Covid-19 has affected local food systems and UF development.
The camp will be accomplished by a Staff Exchange to local Good Practices and UF initiatives like: the Regional Park's Head Quarters, Field trips to Eschborn, Project Stadtgarten, MainÄppelHaus Lohrberg, Urban farming initiatives in Oberrad, sights on Main river bank, the Educational farm, Presentation by the Department for Rural Areas, Guided tour Kronenhof, Agrarkulturachse and Old airfield Bonames-Kalbach.
