Our CityZen Final Event "Urban Farming - Policies and Practices for Sustainable Cities and Regions" will take place in Sofia at the Peroto Literary Club ("The Quill") - a discussion and social place in the heart of the city.
The one-day event will bring together CityZen team members, managing authorities and stakeholders from the 5 project regions to present our work and achievements in supporting urban farming policies and good practices. Local hosts are ARC Fund, Sofia Development Association and SOfia Green at Sofia Municipality.
The event will include a panel discussion to share the results of the implementation of the CityZen Action Plans with the audience of policy makers, urban farming researchers and practitioners. This will be followed by an inspirational session with success stories, good practices and spill-over effects on local ecosystems in each partner region.
In the spirit of knowledge sharing and learning, the CityZen event will provide an opportunity for external speakers to share policy, social and citizen perspectives that drive urban agriculture. A field trip to a local urban garden will also be organised.
