This year, 14 clusters celebrate their first year of being officially acknowledged and subsidised as ‘Innovative Business Network’ by Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Therefore, the past stakeholder meeting was themed: one year cluster management.
Not only did we look back at successes of the past year, by presenting some success stories as well as a general overview of the clusters’ achievements of past year. We also looked ahead.
In workshops, the cluster managers identified some of their main bottlenecks and together, they looked for potential solutions as well as opportunities. It proved to be a perfect match for the CLUSTERIX 2.0 working group ‘services for cluster management organisations’. This working group was created in order to explore which services can be offered to improve clusters’ performance and to increase their impact. It is led by Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship and West-Pannon Nonprofit Ltd.
