IDM stands for Innovation Development Marketing. As public agency for economic and business location development, IDM South Tyrol pursues the aim of making South Tyrol businesses ever more competitive. In addition to a comprehensive strategy for agricultural and destination marketing using the ‘Südtirol’ umbrella brand, IDM delivers services which support innovation, promote investment and increase the number of exporting firms.
IDM acts on behalf of the Province of South Tyrol (60% ownership) and the Bozen-Bolzano Chamber of Commerce (40% ownership) to ensure the entrepreneurial success of local companies. We support SMEs in business activities enabling them to maintain or increase their competitiveness. We understand the business needs of local SMEs and are striving to increase the success of the South Tyrolean location. This is our contribution to our joint vision, which is to make South Tyrol the most sought-after place to live in Europe, one where future generations will be able to live well and work happily.
