In May 2019, Lower Austria launched a pilot voucher scheme for 3D printing as one of the actions developed in CLUSTERIX 2.0. It supported up to 50% of maximum 10,000 € costs for external expertise for concept development, design, additive manufacturing and post treatment of components for innovative products. The evaluation of the pilot scheme after 6 months showed an increasing interest of companies in 3D printing and that it filled a gap between support instruments existing before. The vouchers will be available for Lower Austrian companies again in spring 2020.
