On the 13th April 2021, the EBN (European Business and Innovation Centres Network) organised its 'Creative Special Interest Group' meeting online. The EBN is the leading pan-European association of business support organisations and connects a global partner network of executives, industry leaders and best-of-class innovators of all kinds. The network created so-called special interest groups in order to share news, initiatives and funding opportunities among members. Budapest Enterprise Agency is the only EUBIC (EU Business and Innovation Centre) labeled member from Hungary and had the opportunity to share the Interreg Europe CRAFTS CODE project news on the online occasion.
After the inspiring speech about 'The cultural dimension of innovation' by Fabio M. Montagnino from Cyprus Institute, the co-chairs introduced the Special Interest Group activities and also EU opportunities for the CCI have been shared.
In addition to the lively discussion among members, the Budapest Enterprise Agency had the chance to introduce the Interreg Europe CRAFTS CODE project and invite members to participate at the upcoming 3rd ITS of CRAFTS CODE project and invite their clients as well. Mónika Alíz Mészáros, EU project manager of Budapest Enterprise Agency informed the participants about the aim of the project, the partnership and the exact activities of the programme. She also informed the group about the online 3rd ITS conference of the CRAFTS CODE project which will be organised on the 10th and 11th May 2021. Finally, Budapest Enterprise Agency encouraged participants to participate at the final conference which will be organised in Budapest in the 1st half of 2022 hopefully in an offline format.
