In normal times, CYBER partners would have been ready to jump on a plane, destination Florence, Italy, to join the interregional exchange event organised by the Regional Government of Tuscany.
But these are not normal times, so we have to make alternative arrangements. Instead, we offer stakeholders the chance to take part in two exciting thematic webinars, looking at the role of higher education and vocational training in the cybersecurity sector.
On the 21st of October (10:00-12:00 CET), we focus on “Higher education and research in the field of cybersecurity” with presentations from the Tuscan ecosystem. Tune in to hear from the Tuscan Cybersecurity Competency Centre (C3T), the University of Pisa’s Cyber security programmes and the international experience of Rennes CyberSchool: the French Graduate School in Cybersecurity.
On the 23rd of October (10:00-12:00 CET) the focus shifts towards “Vocational training and post school training in cybersecurity”, with an overview of vocational, secondary school and strategic training in Tuscany. Case studies come from the Fondazione ITS VITA and PIN /University Campus City of Prato. Other Italian and international initiatives being presented include the ECSO’s Youth4Cyber Initiative and the Internship Programme in cybersecurity managed by ICE (Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial de Castilla y León) in Spain.
