The Major Development Agency of Thessaloniki (MDAT), as the lead partner of DESTI-SMART, was invited and participated in the workshop on Fostering citizen-focused urban mobility organised by the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform in Brussels on the 26th November 2019.
The workshop aimed to inspire the participants through the presentation of good practices and by offering breakout sessions and discussions on urban mobility topics.
Participants learnt about the latest developments regarding the European policy framework for mobility, exchanged experience and knowledge in improving urban transport performance.
The need of modernisation of public transport, promotion of active modes of transport and reviving of urban areas were the main conclusions of the workshop.
