The almost complete E-COOL consortium met in Athens on May 12th after more than two years without having a physical meeting due to the pandemic situation. Our regional greek partner Regional Development Fund of Attica was in charge of organizing the meeting and their welcome could not be warmer. We had the opportunity to get to know the facilities and activities of Archimedes, NKUA's Center for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We visited their Entrepreneurship Development Center and had a very stimulating exchange with Antonis Livieratos, scientific advisor at Archimedes; Antonis knows E-COOL very well since he has been participating in the project as stakeholder.
We held our Steering Committee meeting at Chamber of Commerce of Athens facilities, during which we all shared our progress in monitoring and implementing our regional action plans.
We were all excited to meet again and be able to exchange in person. Online meetings are here to stay as an efficient work model, but we want to continue having the opportunity to meet in person and strengthen the human part of our work in the projects.
Next meeting will take place in Autumn in Poland, we will keep you posted...!
