The meeting was attended by representatives of local municipalities, public transport companies, clusters, agencies for green energy and associations for urban development. The meeting was structured in two parts, respectively policies and future funding and examples of good practices from Centru Region municipalities.
In the first part speeches were made by the Regional Development Agency Centru and Regional Center for Financing Rural Investments representatives. Discussions were made towards the perspectives on territorial and urban development in the Centru Region and about aspects regarding the financing of Territorial Development in the rural areas.
In the second part models of integrated urban development in Centru Region were presented. The firs presentation was the E-MOB project, where talks were made about the objective of the project, future actions and examples of good practices from the Leipzig kick-off meeting. Municipalities of Sibiu, Brasov and Odorheiu Secuiesc presented their urban development experiences and challenges.
All the participants agreed that the next stakeholder meeting should be organized in late June, when more examples of good practices could be presented.
