On December 2, 2021, the Municipality of Venlo organised its 2nd Stakeholder Meeting - featuring 15 participants.
As part of Venlo's involvement in e-smartec, a mobility survey was carried out among the inhabitants of northern Limburg. Its results will be used as input for updating the Mobility Actions for North Limburg.
Striking points from the survey are:
- walking and cycling are the most frequently used modes of transport for most visitors;
- people who work at home because of COVID-19 want to continue to do so after the COVID-19 measures have been lifted;
- half of the employers are not yet well prepared to continue working at home after the COVID-19 measures;
- 40% of the respondents use an electric bicycle.
