Project partners and stakeholders will meet in Barcelona on October 10th & 11th for the thematic workshop on circular economy.
During the workshop, partners will present the context on circular economy in its own country/region, this will include an overview of the key sectors, strategies, main legal requirements related to waste, and the potential actions for the implementation of circular economy that could include specific conditions for EMAS registered organizations.
Both, partners and stakeholders will work on the practices presented by other partners in order to assess them and select those that better fit their context and therefore can be implemented.
The workshop also includes a round table with circular economy experts that will provide different views on the topic: circular economy and competitiveness, industrial symbiosis, and the point of view of the waste enforcement authority in relation to EMAS registered organizations.
Site visits will complement the workshop in order to learn about concrete examples of circular economy in EMAS registered organizations.
