These two-day EPICAH events aimed at promoting and disseminating good practices, which have originally been developed within the framework of regional and/or cross-border co-funded projects, but they still remain 100% viable and effective well after the completion of these projects. These practices have already fostered a new perception of tourism at regional level, improving the attractiveness and enhancing the visibility of the Region of Western Macedonia.
A few words about Epicah
EPICAH aims to promote the improvement of the policy instruments for cross-border cooperation processes in the natural and cultural heritage protection through the exchange of experiences and good practices among partners with significant experience in developing strategies, projects and actions in the field of cross-border cooperation.
Partners and stakeholders will learn from each other and cooperate to address this challenge, formulating proposals for new type of actions in current cross-border programs or even with proposals for a new framework of Interreg programs for the next programming period. In this way, the regions will improve the management of their natural and cultural heritage and will adopt a common approach to the development of tourism activity.
