The new management structure will support the consensus building between companies, will animate the innovation eco-system and will support the collaboration between business and education.
The vision of the new hub has been presented during the Open Business Day, conducted on 19th October 2018 in MECHATRONICA JSC, as a part of the activities within ESSPO project.
„Our survival in the difficult global market is only possible if we are innovative. One or two innovative companies can not exist in the region if they don’t work with their neighbours. The innovative company survives because of its originality, speed of development, quality and reliability of the products.“, said Eng. Nikolinka Hinkova – member of Board of Directors of MECHATRONICA JSC. According to her – It is important the business needs to be understood by the local authority, which could support companies on national and international level.
Open Business Day coincided with the study visit of Mr. Dieter Meyer – representative of Hameln-Pyrmont region, partner in ESSPO project. According to Mr. Meyer – Bulgaria can be a good example of collaborative work between local authority and business. „Bulgarians have very fresh ideas. That’s why we want to investigate foreign experience, which can be implemented at home. Gabrovo makes an impression of a clean city in which modern companies operate and which has visible industrial progress.“, he thinks.
In addition to business, the German partner also met the Deputy Rector of Gabrovo Technical University. He was acquainted with the socio-economic characteristics of the municipality, the main productions, the geo-information portal with current data on the local companies, the opportunities for education and work in Gabrovo.
