On the 21st of May 2021, EU CYCLE partner the Association of Bialystok Functional Area (BFA) organized a meeting with a group of local stakeholders .
Several good practices were discussed on the topic of intermodality, ahead of the study visit planned for the end of the month:
- Free bicycle transport on regional trains in Puglia. (Italy)
- Pin Bike - a certification and gamification tool for smart cities. (Italy)
- Bike + Ride services in the Austro-Hungarian border region. (Hungary)
- The world's largest bicycle parking facility - Utrecht Station. (The Netherlands)
The meeting was followed by the presentation of the regional cycling network planning document which is being developed within the framework of the project.
The meeting ended with a fruitful session with questions and answers.
