"KEK Gennimatas", supporting the South Aegean primary sector, traditional products and gastronomy, celebrated spring with an extremely interesting "Twelve Days of Gastronomy" training!
This spring online culinary journey in the wonderful Cyclades and the beautiful Dodecanese included the presentation of traditional recipes with locally certified traditional products of the South Aegean islands. It took place from 16 to 28 April 2021 at the islands of Rhodes – Symi, Syros, Andros, Naxos, Paros – Santorini, Mykonos – Tinos, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, Astypalea, and Kasos.
Our guides in this gastronomic wandering, with their techniques, knowledge and experience, were members of the Dodecanese & Cyclades Chefs' Club, renowned instructors in the field of catering as well as distinguished guests who presented recipes that characterize each of our islands and highlight the Aegean flavors around the world.
Free seminars were addressed exclusively to professionals in the field of catering (Restaurants, Chefs) with the aim of developing and upgrading their professional skills.
Following the developments and based on the new training requirements due to the pandemic of Covid 19, this training was implemented online through the modern e-learning platform of "KEK Gennimatas" for the absolute safety of the participants and the trainers.
All thes actions were carried out as part of the implementation of the South Aegean Action Plan, which was drafted in the framework of EUREGA project and they are funded by the South Aegean Region.
