Circular procurement has a significant role in promoting systemic transition to resource efficient circular economy. However, the systemic transition still lacks well-established practices to implement circular procurement. The main idea of the project is to collect and share experiences about good practices of the circular procurement among participating regions. On the basis of collected information the project aims to create tools for public procurers to assist the circular procurement process. The aim of the project is to create a guide of circular procurement practices for public procurers. Also, the aim is to develop simplified life cycle assessment procedure for the use of public procurers. The procedure would work as an evaluation tool of the social and environmental effectiveness and the economic effects of circular procurements. By these tools and the sharing of information it is possible to promote implementation of EU’s and national development strategies of circular economy.
