Laura is responsible for implementing the communication strategy, particularly the digital strategy. She manages developments for the Interreg Europe website as well as social media accounts.

Before joining the secretariat in 2016 to cover for a maternity leave, Laura managed digital communication activities and media relations at an educational organisation in southern Finland. Prior to that she has worked in communications at several public and non-profit organisations in Finland and Hong Kong, including the Finnish Transport Agency and the Finnish Consulate General in Hong Kong.

Laura holds a master's degree in organisational communication and public relations.

She speaks Finnish, English and some Swedish.
