Stefan graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Bremen, Germany with a degree in Political Science and Management, (Dipl. Pol.) and with a M.A. in European Politics, Economics and Law from the University of Malta.

His key areas of interest are public policy analysis, resource efficiency and sustainable development. He has been involved in various information and consultation campaigns with a focus on procurement and efficient appliances, and policy consultation for climate protection strategies.

Through previous projects he gained knowledge about Green and Sustainable Public Procurement (GPP/SPP) with a focus on costs and benefits of GPP, criteria and tools in the field of energy efficient buildings, and innovative approaches in public procurement.
