Stakeholder meeting in Lubelskie gathered practitioners and policy makers from the region to discuss challenges and trends in renewable energy financing.
This meeting was a great opportunity for two Interreg projects FIRESPOL (Interreg Europe) and FIRECE (Interreg Central Europe) to share experiences in the theme of renewable energy sources financing schemes. Both project consortia combine regions with different economic backgrounds and different renewable energy approaches. The discussion focused on the topic of good practices for the funding of Renewable Energy Sources investments. Finding an innovative and in the same time attractive financial instrument is certainly a challenge. Nevertheless , financial instruments allow for the return of funds that can be reused for new RES investments.
