FoodChains4EU project steps into the second semester and new activities are being planned ahead, like the second interregional learning event with focuss on environmental sustainability that will take place in Bologna (Italy), between the 15th - 17th of November 2017.
The workshop will present the efforts of our Italian partners to identify the innovation needs of their traditional food sector and the methods to transfer these needs towards the R&D sector for innovative approaches. Environmental sustainability is a key word in their cooperation, consequently this workshop will introduce us their priorities related to : innovative and sustainable packing, innovation in the supply chain and shelf life management , innovation in preservation technologies and the applicability of ICT to the food industry.
This event will be completed by second the reunion of the Monitoring Board of FoodChains4EU project.
