Double appointment with innovation and research in the agri-food sector was organized by the Emilia-Romagna Region, starting from Friday, 1st March 2019, with the Conference "Innovation and research for the agri-food system in Emilia-Romagna" dedicated to farmers, technicians and researchers to present almost 200 projects and research initiatives funded by the European Funds (POR ERDF and PSRF EAFRD).
That was a great opportunity to learn directly from the reports of the participants on over 20 collaborative projects between the world of research and food production for study initiatives and the creation of innovative products and processes.
The meeting was attended, among others, by the President of the Emilia-Romagna, Region Stefano Bonaccini and the Minister for Agriculture, Simona Caselli.
On 2nd March, there was also organized a space for the general public of FICO visitors, with project dissemination initiatives, information banquets and presentation of the Interreg innovation projects String and FoodChains 4 Europe, information and tasting points for innovative products and moments of entertainment that have allowed about a hundred visitors to FICO Eataly Word to know and appreciate what was achieved with the fundamental collaboration of all project partners, at the Arena of FICO Eataly Word.
