On April 1st 2019, the FlevoFood Association organized a meeting with the province of Flevoland and the six municipalities in Flevoland. Through the new partnership agreements with the municipalities of Lelystad and Zeewolde, most of the municipalities support the FlevoFood Association.
During the meeting the ambitions of the association for the next years were discussed: developing a brand for regional products, creating a logistic network, sharing knowledge and working towards the worldexpo Floriade Almere 2022 where the Flevo Food Association wishes to sell regional products under one common brand.
The municipalities and the province are willing to support the FlevoFood Association in these ambitions. They agreed to meet in three months to concretize their cooperation. This will be input for the Flevoland FoodChains4EU Action Plan.
