Emilia-Romagna Region hosted the 5th and last Peer Review within the FoodChains 4 EU Project, during 12th – 15th February 2019, to evaluate the local food chains.

Food specialists of the project partner regions from NL, BG, RO and UK analyzed the food chain in Emilia-Romagna Region, focusing on local important topics related to the innovation on food packaging, with the aim to develop sustainable food chains, in terms of marketing, labelling, environmental sustainability, product quality and food safety.

Based on the Peer Review team recommendations, the Emilia-Romagna Region will draw up an action plan that will improve the sustainable food packaging and the regional cooperation.
