On 25th of February 2019 the Ministry of Environment, Waters end Forests of Romania organized the kick-off Conference of GPP- STREAM project. The event was hosted by The Romanian Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences "Gheorghe Ionescu-Şişeşti" (A.A.F.S.), in Bucharest.
There were 43 participants in this event, mainly representing the following stakeholders: public procurers, environmental experts, representatives of central authorities, etc.
Objectives of this conference were:
- Present the nature and objectives of GPP-STREAM project (identifying needs in terms of knowledge, tools, actions);
- Presentation of the European policy framework of GPP (guidelines, GPP National Action Plan);
- Mainstreaming of the green public procurement into sustainable development process;
- Relevant stakeholder involvement in the implementation of the GPP-STREAM project at the national level.
