One of the objectives of the GRESS project is to map and analyse the innovation climate in the participating regions. To equip the partners for this, experts from the Metropolitan City of Bologna have, in close co-operation with the GRESS partnership, developed a methodology.
This methodological framework provides a top-down approach for the analysis of the regional innovation climate for green SMEs, including existing policies, support schemes and instruments, and the possible existence of strong regional markets and knowledge clusters.
This analysis is the starting point for the exchange of experience and mutual learning processes.
