HIGHER project has attended the first Policy Learning Event on Research & Innovation and SME competitiveness on 19 and 20 October in Milan.
The event was an opportunity to discuss the needs of cities and regions in these areas, and explore the good practices and approaches stemming from other Interreg Europe projects. The objective was to introduce the policy learning platform, an online space for continuous learning where the policymaking community in Europe can tap into the knowhow of experts and peers.
The first day sessions focused on research & development and open innovation. A representative of HIGHER project participated in the session “How to effectively engage with private sector to find funding in the early stages of the R&D projects?”.
On the second day discussions were held on SME competitiveness and regional growth, and the project attended the session about Creative and cultural industries.
