The Chamber of Commerce of Molise presented INNOGROW project in the 3rd party event, the first joint Conference SIDEA-SIEA on “Cooperative strategies and value creation in sustainable food supply chain”, organized by Società Italiana di Economia AgroAlimentare, from the 13nd to 16th, on the address Via Cardinale dell’Olio, in the premises of the Palazzo Tupputi, city Bisceglie, town Trani, Italy.

In September 2017 Chamber of Commerce of Molise participated to the SIDEA Conference in Apulia region. It was the first joint Conference SIDEA-SIEA on “Cooperative strategies and value creation in sustainable food supply chain”, it has stretched over four days.

 

In the first day, it took place the pre-conference workshop on “Circular Economy in the Food Industry”. The second and the third day were plenary sessions, 2 parallel sessions on the Conference theme and SIDEA – SIEA member assembly. Then, the parallel sessions were deepened by the theme and the topics of the 1st Joint Conference starting from the analysis of the main patterns of production and consumption until to organizational models, territorial, sectoral and environmental cooperation forms and policies aimed at adding value to agro-food chain. A virtual journey between the fishing and the agriculture system of the territory was organized after the congress.

The congress closed with a meeting on "Cooperation between University and Public Administration for the Development of the Agro-Food Industry" at the Levante Fair in Bari.

 

During the Congress it was presented by Innogrow Project Partners “Chamber of Commerce of Molise (IT)” and “University of Newcastle (UK)” and Innogrow Project Stakeholder from Molise region “University of Molise” an interesting paper based on the result of Project Activity A1.1 on the “Use of the new Technologies for the competitiveness of SMEs in rural area”.

 

During the Paper presentation several Innogrow Leaflets were also distributed.
