3rd REGIONAL STAKEHOLDER GROUP MEETING AND STUDY VISITS INTRODUCING NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND BUSINESS MODELS OF SMEs IN RURAL AREAS IN SLOVENIA
BSC Kranj organizes, within the framework of the INNOGROW project, the third regional stakeholder group meeting and study visit of good practices in introducing new technologies and business models in companies, on the 15th of November 2017, at the premises of BSC, Business Support Center, Ltd , Kranj, in Kranj.
The event aims at presenting the results of the project, in particular the research of the effects of innovative technologies on the competitiveness and productivity of SMEs in rural areas and the factors that influence the introduction of these technologies in the business process. Within the partnership several new business models had been identified. On the meeting successful international project for informing and promoting EU agricultural and food products in third markets will be presented. The discussion is planned about the UHub - solutions to reduce logistics pathways and local economic circulation:
Can the success story of the implementation of the actions of the Rural Development Program 2014-2020, through funding from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), be repeated in the framework of programs co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)?
Additional discussions will be initiated:
How to complement the content and improve the implementation of the measures of the Slovenian Industrial Policy, which relate to raising the competitiveness of SMEs in rural areas? More specifically, measures to introduce new production technologies and business models that lead to innovative products and services.
What are the most successful projects on this topic that Slovenian partners have already managed to co-finance with the European Regional Development Fund?
A study visit will take participants to Škofja Loka, where they will see a modern equipped slaughterhouse of the Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative zoo. The Garden Village Bled team will lead the participants through their innovative ecological and tourist complex and will ensure that we complete the socializing with a local culinary experience.
