NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY HOSTS INNOGROW INFODAY EVENT
As part of the 15th rural entrepreneurship conference, Newcastle University hosted an infoday on INNOGROW and rural development innovation. The event on the 16th June 2017, presented an overview of the INNOGROW project and its findings regarding innovative production technologies and stimulating benefits for rural economies. Additional presentations covered territorial development in rural areas, sustainable business models, lifestyle entrepreneurship and rural tourism SMEs. In the afternoon, a workshop on rural enterprise and industrial strategy was held, featuring an invited panel of local businesses and policymakers.
The event was attended by 70 delegates, drawn from academia, business and government.
