On 14th of February, the Tartu City Government (Estonia) held its local stakeholder group meeting for project INNO INFRA SHARE. The meeting took place at Spark Demo in Tartu. Stakeholders from University of Tartu (largest Research and Innovation (R&I) infrastructure owner in the region), Estonian Research Council (responsible for Estonian R&I infrastructure road map), Estonian University of Life Sciences and Tartu Science Park participated in the meeting. During the meeting, the two project Study Visits to Netherlands and Belgium and to Italy, as well as the results of Peer Review meeting in Czech Republic where partners had a chance to discuss their national and regional support policy for R&I and get partners’ inputs for improvement were discussed. Information about the peer review meeting in Dresden and study visit to Skane was given to the stakeholders.
This year, work on elaboration of the local action plan with the help of the experts from the Institute of Baltic Studies is planned with the aim to improve the policy influencing R&I infrastructure and to promote accessibility of RII to companies. It is also important to promote collaboration between infrastructure owners on local, national and international level.
