Within the two days dedicated to the fourth INNOTRANS Project meeting, a study visit has been organised by South-East Regional Development Agency, on 8th of April 2019, in Galati.

The Study visit was attended by all the Project Partners together with their stakeholders coming from different context, such as universities, enterprises, municipalities and research institutes.

According to the chosen topic “Innovation funding in urban mobility”, the agenda of the day was divided into two sections: in the morning representatives from Galati municipality have presented the project of transport innovation funded by Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013 and 2014-2020: renewal of vehicles for public transportation and the supervisor control centre that is monitoring the urban traffic in Galati, component of the integrated management system of the urban traffic; the representative of IPA SA Bucharest - Galati Branch - EEN Member has presented Innovative services of technological transfer for the transport companies in the Enterprise Europe Network; the representative of the Technological Transfer Centre of Lower Danube University from Galati has presented the services for the small and medium sized enterprises from Galati; the representative of Dutch Marine Trading company has presented the innovative activities in naval field.

In the afternoon, the participants have visited the supervisor control centre that is monitoring the urban traffic in Galati, component of the integrated management system of the urban traffic.


Then the participants went to the headquarters of Dutch Marine Trading SA, to know the innovative activities of this company in naval field.

On 9th of April 2019, in Braila, within the thematic workshop “Innovation funding in urban mobility, the partners and stakeholders representatives found out about the policies of funding of transport innovation for each partner region.
