INNOTRANS final project meeting of Phase 1 in Thessaloniki in December 2019
The final project meeting and study visit of INNOTRANS Phase 1 along with an interregional knowledge elicitation workshop will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 4th and 5th of December 2019. The aim of the workshop will be to stimulate regional transport innovation capacity through the elaboration of policy recommendations and through the discussions on relevant actions to be implemented. The participating partners and stakeholders will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, points of views as well as to inspire and be inspired by others.
During the study visit, a demonstration of the public transport telematics system and of the Rotunda Monument’s accessibility provisions will take place. Also, the participants will visit the freight facilities of the international Thessaloniki’s port (container terminal) and they will be informed about its operation and its innovative ongoing and upcoming projects. A demonstration of electric bikes/motorbikes produced by a local transport-related startup will be delivered.
