In Valencia, on March 22, the initial meeting of the regional Stakeholders group was organized, joining in IVACE representatives from the public actors involved in financial instruments supporting innovation in SMEs.
Beside IVACE, responsible to define and manage RIS, DGFE - General Directorate for European Funds, manager of the ERDF in the Region, IVF – Valencia Institute of Finances, regional public bank managing financial instruments for SMEs based in ERDF, and AVI – Valencia Innovation Agency, responsible establishing regional innovation strategies, agreed in create and develop a Regional Observatory, integrated by stakeholders from the public and prived sectors, addressed to share information and knowledge about SMEs innovation financing, and to cooperate defining, applying and monitoring regional strategies and programs improving the present situation.
All the presents fixed the data for this set-up, agreeing on April 18th to do the first meeting of the Regional Observatory for Financing Innovation.
