The National Innovation Agency (ANI) has held the fourth local stakeholder group meeting in Portugal, on February 6 2020. This meeting took place in Aveiro, as ANI continued its efforts to engage with stakeholders from all Portuguese regions.
Alexandre Almeida, Project Manager, presented a brief overview of the project and its objectives, stressing the importance of developing new forms of financial support for innovation activities, including innovative financial instruments.
ANI also shared with the national stakeholders the lessons learned and good practices shared in the 5th Exchange of Experiences that took place in Udine, Italy on the 13th -15th of January.
This meeting was attended by representatives of policymaking organizations, firms and R&D institutions in Portugal, who participated in the discussion that followed, focused on how to improve the deployment of structural funds through financial instruments.
