Representants from all 7 partner regions of Inside Out EU project met 30 and 31st May in Kongsvinger (Norway) in order to know the internationalization support policies from Hedmark.
The participants were received by Eva Lundin, from County Council Hedmark, and Margrethe Haarr, Deputy Mayor of Kongsvinger.
The meeting started with an overview of Norway’s support system for SMEs and the measures for fostering internantionalisation and increased access to foreign marktets, which were presented by Christian Hedløv Engh, Managing Director in Innovation Norway. Then, Jan Egil Melby presented Hemdark innovation Park and 7sterke cluster.
Foresight and internationalization strategies
A workshop with all the participants was lead by Jan Dietz. In groups, they discussed on the use of foresight in internationalization and export strategies.
During this session the delegates discussed and exchanged experiences and ideas on the project main objective: smes internationalization support.
The visit included also some "on the spot" visits: to an Upper Secondary School to know an experience of education cooperating with local businesses, and to two internationalized companies.
Next study visit will take place in Pamplona in October.
