In the core of the INTENCIVE project are Good Practices which are analysed through Bikva evaluation model. Danish Hanne Katherine Krogstrup developed Bikva evaluation model and data collection method in 1996. The main aim of the model is to find out clients’ feedback about service quality and effectiveness. Bikva is, in other words, a customer-oriented quality assurance. Bikva model allows customers to make decisions about the topics discussed during group discussions. The core of Bikva data is created by clients and it is the starting point for the whole process.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic almost all interviews were made with videoconferencing. Project partners did need an extra effort to be able to arrange all the interviews. Especially since the interviews involved many healthcare professionals who have been extremely busy due to the pandemic.
According to the modified Bikva model made by an external expert, there were two steps:
1. Customer group interviews
2. Group interviews with employees, managers, professionals, and decision-makers.
You can read more about the original Bikva model and changes made to the process here.
Project partners now continue work with action plans. Next step is also to submit the Good Practices to the Policy Learning Platform. We are eager to hear what the Platform experts think about our Good Practices!
