The implementation of the IDIVAL Action Plan has focused on the opening of the Innovation and User Experience Laboratory (LINNUX-E) and the development of the new Cantabrian Health Service application MiSalud@SCS with new functionalities for citizen access to the health system.
LINNUX-E was conceptualized, designed and completed. IDIVAL has been working on launching the activity and organizing its functioning. After the opening of the laboratory, it has been fully used in several activities of the institute: daily activities of the Innovation Support Unit at IDIVAL, StarVal intrapreneurship programme activities, training and learning events, meetings with companies, health technologies conceptualization, development and prototyping, usability and human factors studies related to the assessment and implementation of new technologies, etc.
On the other hand, the development of the APP SCSalud, the mobile APP that allows citizens and patients in Cantabria to access several services and information related the regional healthcare system. The DGTDRU has launched a new version of the mobile APP, whose requirements included the results of the Bikva interviews and the formative usability testing with patients. The APP is currently downloaded and used by 50.000 citizens.
All has been possible thanks to the support of the General Directorate for Digital Transformation and User Relations of the Ministry of Health of the Community of Cantabria, that has collaborated with IDIVAL to successfully carry out the INTENCIVE Project.
