Cork County Council is hosting Climate Awareness Week in partnership with Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and Sustineo to provide a series of presentations and conversations on climate change for members of staff from 19th – 23rd October 2020.
The training event aims to achieve “an understanding of the nature and scale of the climate change crises as well as a perspective on what role we can play for positive collective action.”

- Engineering Climate Action: Solutions to combat climate change in Ireland

3 Steps to Decarbonise
- Understand how to reduce your personal carbon footprint, how public sector carbon targets will affect your organisation and what you can do about that

Call to Action & Participation In our Climate Action Journey
- As a part of our ISO 50001 certification journey, an open discussion with staff on how we can deliver more climate action
The training event will be facilitated by Raoul Empey of Sustineo and Conor Molloy who both have been personally trained by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore to deliver the Climate Reality presentation.
