Cork City Council engaged with the members of the Cork Retired People's Network about the services offered in the Home Energy Upgrade Office. The office was developed through the Interreg Europe, Intensify Project. One quarter of all energy generated in Ireland is used for heating in Irish homes. The Intensify Project targets engagement with the community to change our behaviour towards energy use and take action to reduce our carbon emissions through energy efficiency upgrades.
