The first Net Zero Skills Summit will be held virtually in October to bring together key participants in UK’s transformation towards a net zero carbon future and engage with the UK working force. The digital event targets key decision makers leading organisers including from corporate executives and union representatives, policymakers, campaigners, graduates, apprentices, to teachers and recruiters, to seize the massive job opportunities across the green sector.  

As the UK continues to transition in to a wider green economy, the digital event provides a platform dedicated to engage with the UK working class on net zero jobs and learning opportunities. According to recent reports, UK’s transition to net zero will likely create between a million and 2.2 million green jobs. The virtual event invites the public audience to explore huge opportunities across energy, transport, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, retail, and services.  

The involvement of prominent key stakeholders across multi-diverse discipline in this first-ever Net Zero Skills Summit highlights UK’s attitude in embracing green future. The first Net Zero Skills Summit also displays the engagement of working citizens towards the green recovery.
