INTERREG Europe organised the first Policy Learning Event on Research & Innovation and SME competitiveness on 19 & 20 October.
More than 130 participants involved in INTERREG Europe projects attended the 2-day meeting in Milan. The event focused on the needs of cities and regions, and the sharing of solutions for better regional policy. In addition, the features of the Policy Learning Platform were introduced to the participating project Partners enabling them to share best practices among each other easily.
Of particular interest for our KISS ME Project were the working sessions on synergies between policy Instruments, such as Horizon 2020 and INTERREG, as well as the presentation of the Commission's Seal of Excellence initiative. Moreover, the KISS ME project could benefit from the lively exchange of ideas with other INTERREG Europe projects and the event's excellent networking opportunities.
The KISS ME Project is looking forward to an active and fruitful use of the Policy Learning Platform.
