From 7 May to 9 November 2018 the KISS ME Project Partners and their selected local stakeholders came together for the third time. This time, the meeting was organised by our Project Partner  EGTC Euroregion Pyrenees-Mediterranean at the French-Spanish border region. Since the organisation's presidency is held by the Region Catalonia at this moment, the KISS ME project partners and their Stakeholders visited beautiful Barcelona!

The meeting was initiated with a site visit at the Canòdrom, an open space for innovation and entrepreneurship for talented individuals in the creative and cultural industries located in a former dog racecourse in Barcelona. The consortium not only got insights in the unique building and its history, but also in the working methods and support facilities of the research parc. Inspiring tour through this unique talent hub!

At the second day of the meeting the spotlight was turned to the Stakeholder workshop session. The selected topics for the stakeholder presentations for our session in Barcelona were "Intellectual Property" and "Entrepreneurial Dimension: how to help SMEs get bigger?". Both are hot topics for the participating border regions and offer much room for interregional learning and exchange. Furthermore, the partners continued their process of identifying best practices from each region and initiated the intensive working phase on the action plan, which will coin the following months of the project.

Surrounding the meeting & workshop sessions, there was also space for networking and informal exchange of ideas among the partners & stakeholders.

As previous meetings, the 3rd KISS ME interregional meeting with site visit was a big success. The consortium had interesting discussions and was able to progress very well in its process of interregional learning. With the action plan coming in sight, the project has initiated its "last stretch". The coming month will be coined by drafting of the action plan and finishing up the best practices.

The best practices identified within the framework of the KISS ME Project will be submitted in the Interreg Europe good practice database! Don't hesitate to have a look! We will also keep you posted about the progress of our Action Plans! Stay tuned!
