It seems like a great idea to try to gather together a group of interreg projects working on social innovation and MARIE definitely wanted to be part of it!
But MARIE works on Responsible Innovation, I hear you say, not on social innovation....Yes, we know but the two have some many things in common!
Not least the central question of cross-sector collaboration and that’s what we presented during this workshop on 10th December. We shared some of MARIE’s experiences in bringing together stakeholders from different sectors, taking the examples of Bucharest-Ilfov and Centre Val de Loire.
An excellent conference, with lots of ideas and synergies, addressing the question “Social Innovation and Interreg – an odd couple or a perfect match?" (b.t.w: we think a perfect match!)
